Komodo is surely Indonesia’s best-known National Park. Besides an opportunity to see the famous Komodo dragons during a land excursion, there are also numerous magnificent dive sites to be found in this area.

As a rule, trips to Komodo start and end in Bali. The first night crossing brings us to the island of Satonda where the first dives also take place. During the second night the Amira arrives at the volcanic island of Sangean. Here, amongst other things, the diving the Black Forest site with its wealth of black coral, hot water springs and gas bubbles rising through the sand, promises a special experience.
Following the dives in Sangean, a short crossing sees us arrive at the island of Komodo. Dives at sites like Castle Rock and Manata Valley, famous for the hordes of fish, bring the richness of new diving excitement. Here strong currents lead
to spectacular dives with abundant fish life so that you can be certain to see schooling fish, sharks or manta rays.
The island of Rinca with its Horseshoe Bay is located south of Komodo. Magnificently covered drop-offs and exceptional macro life make the dives at Rinca another highlight of the tour. Cannibal Rock and Larry’s Yellow Wall of Texas are also a delight for discerning divers.

Diving at Raja Ampat / West-Papua
Irian Jaya is without a doubt Indonesia’s best diving area and one of the best dive destinations worldwide. It is recognized as being extraordinarily beautiful and one of the richest marine ecosystems on earth.
On the trips through Irian Jaya, the «Amira» will visit the most amazing dive sites of Raja Ampat. Starting in Sorong we then move on to the coral and macro paradise at
the island of Misool. Dive sites like Gorgonian Passage, Fiabacet and many more ensure colourful and memorable dives.

The second part of the trip leads to the island labyrinth of Wayag in the northern part of Raja Ampat. Here, in addition to diving in fish rich waters with mantas, and sharks including grey reef and wobbegongs, the spectacular scenery ensures a world class experience. The cruises come to a crowning conclusion at the famous dive sites of Cape Kri and Manta Point by Mansoar.
